Camp Review

• I’ve camped here so many times that I feel like I should be the mayor of this place.

 

What Happened?

I couldn’t secure an entry pass into Yosemite, which meant that I needed to get into the park before 5 AM when the park entrance booths would be open.

We arrived at 12 PM and found the place as full as usual. We first parked at an open spot near an RV, but when I stopped the car and opened the door, I realized that they were running their generator and making a racket. So we drove to the other side (the dirt roadside) of the lot, found a quiet spot, and quickly went to sleep.

We awoke at 4:30 AM and saw that 1/4 of the others were waking up and trying to reach the gate just like us. We quickly got ready and joined the caravan of cars without entrance tickets and made it through with 15 minutes to spare.
