Mount Watkins
Hike Review:
I hiked to Mount Watkins from the May Lake to Snow Creek Trailhead.
This trail was short, and easy, which was perfect given the limited time I had.
The trail was shaded about 60% of the trail, as it meandered through a forest, before spitting me out to a granite mountain top.
There was a single hiker on the trail, which was surprising, given the amazing views it affords of Clouds Rest and Half Dome.

What Happened?
I had initially planned to hike Tioga Peak, but given my late arrival at Yosemite, I needed a shorter hike, so I aimed for Mount Watkins instead. I had marked this trail on my map months ago, so I did not remember anything about it.
As I hiked the trail, I was delighted to find out the wonderful views that the trail afforded of Clouds Rest. And then, when I got to the peak of Mount Watkins, I was pleased to see the back view of Half Dome.
I then hiked back to the car, and made my way to Mono Lake, where I planned to camp for the night.
