Echo Lake Sno-Park
Snow Review
There was a ton of snow (6+ ft), and it allowed us to have a great time sledding around the parking lot.
The parking lot was clean, and there weren’t too many cars driving around.
There were snow fields around the parking lot, but there weren’t any hills.
There was a bathroom at the entrance of the Sno-Park, but I didn’t use it, so I’m not sure how clean it was. There were no other facilities.
Friends
The Saitos joined us for sledding, and it was so much fun! They brought snowball forms, and we brought tubes. We then warmed up with delicious Vietnamese food for dinner.
What Happened?
We were meeting up with the Saitos and others for a weekend of skiing. However, since we were headed up there a day early, we chose to hang out with the Saitos at a Sno-Park near Tahoe.
We were initially thinking about heading up to Taylor Creek Sno-Park, but then we saw the sign for Echo Lake and decided to go there instead.
We found the Sno-Park to be peaceful with lots of families having fun in the snow. We joined in by inflating our tubes and smoothing out a ramp that was already there (Ryo did an awesome job with this). We all had a great time sledding and having snowball fights.
The only thing that drove us away was the dying light and our hunger. Thankfully, Seri had a yummy Vietnamese restaurant in mind, where we enjoyed each other’s company for a bit longer.
