Franklin K. Lane Grove
Hike Review
I visited here in 2022 (https://www.theweeklycamper.com/hiking/franklin-k-lane-grove ). The place had not changed one iota.
What Happened?
As we drove through the Avenue of the Giants, we stopped at this grove to get acquainted with the old-growth redwood groves. As we stopped on the trail, we found ourselves surrounded by and overwhelmed by the greenery of the forest. We walked the trail in a counter-clockwise direction and ended up at a stream that sounded like a waterfall, where we followed the sound to the source waterfall. We then finished the hike and headed back to enjoy the rest of the Avenue of the Giants auto tour.
