The Stanford Dish Trail

Hike Review

What I Learned

Parking is difficult to find, even on a week night. I parked at the almost final spot available.

Friends

I hiked this with my coworkers and it was fun getting to know them. Most of them were from out of town, so it was great to meet these really nice folks who I had only known through Slack.

What Happened?

4.1 miles, 1 hr 51 mins, 548 ft of ascent

This hike was for a work social and this hike would’ve been a bore, except that the company was exceptional. It was a lot of fun getting to know some really nice people that I’ll be working more with in the coming months and the conversations made the 4 miles fly.

The other time I hiked this trail, I also hiked with a co-worker, and it’s becoming a work-centric hiking spot for me.
