VMware Campus

Hike Review:

  • I walked the 2 mile loop around the VMware campus with the girls.

  • The trail wan’t marked particularly well, but the numerous maps and signs made it easy enough for us to stay on course.

  • The trail was almost exclusively all paved.

  • There was shade for maybe 1/4 of the trail.

  • The turtles were still away for the winter and we didn’t see any other wildlife. However, there were numerous blooming flowers, which made about 1/2 the hike smell pretty nice.

  • This campus is closed to public access, so I would only recommend this walk for other employees.

What Happened?

2 miles, 53 min, 108 ft of ascent

I had to stop by work for physical access to my server; since we were there, we ended up walking around the pretty campus. The girls found the campus pretty, especially due to how green the campus was due to the trees.

We walked the largest loop around the campus and enjoyed how quiet it was, since there was almost no one on campus. After walking the big loop, we were hungry for lunch, so we headed off to Beijing restaurant for some jjajangmyeon.
