Camp Review:
I drove to a dispersed camping spot near the Tacopa Natural Hot Springs.
The site was less than 5 miles from the hot springs and served as a wonderful camping spot.
The site backs into a surrounding hills, which made the site seem cozy and private.
The site was pretty level, with no bugs (the upside of desert camping).
There was a super weak 1 bar signal on Verizon, which allowed me to get some texts overnight.
Friends
Jo was with me and we shared a yummy vegetarian Indian curry meal, followed by hot link sausages cooked over the propane firepit.
What Happened?
We had such a good time at the Tacopa hot springs that we wanted to find a campsite near by, so that we could utilize the hot springs one more time in the morning before heading home.
This site ended up being just about perfect, with an existing fire ring that signified that this was an established campsite. It was a quiet night, which meant a lot of sleep, and an early return visit to the hot springs on the morning after.
