Inyo Dispersed Camping
Camp Review:
I camped at a dispersed camping spot south of Mono Lake. This wasn’t really a camping spot (no fire ring), but because of my truck camper, it worked just fine.
The site was not level at all, but at least it was very quiet at night.
There were no mosquitos, but lots of other bugs, such as day flies and moths.
What Happened?
I just needed a place to sleep close to the east Yosemite entrance as I had just hiked to the top of Mount Watkins, and was planning on hiking Mount Dana. I found this spot next to Mono Lake thanks to freecampsites.net.
The site served me well and it also afforded me a beautiful view the next morning.
