Chandler Grove
Hike Review:
Chandler Grove Trail was stated as the second northern most trail on the Ave of the Giants.
This short trail was clean and was a very easy hike.
However, the trail diverged in many directions at a few different points with no signage, so it was slightly confusing. Still, since it was so short, it was easy to figure out (or in my case, back track).
The trail was hard packed earth covered with tiny brown leaves and branches.
What Happened?
.5 miles, 15 mins, 69 ft of ascent I wanted to walk a few more of the trails that I had not yet walked on the Avenue of the Giants, so I stopped by Chandler Grove and gave it a quick walk.
The hike was extremely short, though I did stop more than a few times to take pictures of the beautiful landscape. The stream wasn’t much to look at, and I ended up walking back on the road, during which time, no car passed by.
